When you commission us, our services include helping you define your brief, an initial site visit and assessment, and the architectural design of your new home, down to the smallest detail. We also manage planning consent and building applications, write all construction documentation, tender for a suitable contractor, oversee the construction, and acquire the necessary certification. Finally – we address and manage any post-completion snags with the contractors.
The majority of our work is residential. We specialise in contemporary new-build homes and large scale renovations, rural Class Q conversions, self-builds, and small residential developments. Our focus goes beyond layout and aesthetics — we work to understand how clients want to live, then translate that into homes that are carefully designed, well-considered, and resolved down to the last detail.
Yes, we will undertake extensions or smaller renovations where the brief is contextual and of a high quality.
Instead of the typical model of fees based on a percentage of the expected build cost, we provide fixed-sum fees, broken down into stages, tailored to each project before we start. In this way you are able to budget for our costs right from the start of your project, with no surprises.
No two jobs are the same, depending on architectural design, scale of the build and also location – plus there are always lots of other aspects to consider.
We’re always happy to discuss likely timescales for your project during any initial chats with you, when we’re able to talk through any other elements which could impact project timings
Yes, our standard services can be complemented with a range of additional options – these include plot-finding, 3D visualisations, interior design services, bespoke fixtures and fittings, and the selection and sourcing of furnishings, if required.
Yes we do. Although many of our projects are in our three regions, we work across the rest of the UK.
We can help you find a suitable plot through our contacts with landowners, and can assist in actively searching by approaching possible sources on your behalf. Many factors affect whether a plot is suitable for a given project, and we’re always happy to offer advice prior to any purchase. If you already have a plot, we will be able to advise of its suitability to your plans via our planning first pathway.
The average value of the homes we work on is typically between £800K and £2.5 million.
